Eva film review

The movie from the Manaiakalani Film Festival 50 v 50 was made from Room 6 from or Pt England school it was comedy which took place at school,countdown and around pt England school. The main characters were mostly the girls and the boys. The music that they use in the movie were songs in fornite to dance to. Room 6 also had some awesome special effect that they use for backgrounds they use cool background from fortnite to dance in front of. I really enjoy the movie because i love the background and all the dances that they did. I would give this . a 4.5 start I would recommend this movie to the people that plays fornite and loves the fornite dances.

Eva The art of Michel tuffery

Today in reading i had to do a presentation about the art of Michel Tuffery. i really enjoy this book because Michel has made two bulls with motors inside them and he has also made his own firework and he has also made a giant fish out of squashed tuna tins. also i did a review on the book the review is on slide four so you can read it.

Eva Cross country recount

Last week on Friday at Pt England school the whole school had cross country. I came to school and then we had assembly usal then we came back and we stay in our home class i was really nervous because the cross country run was about 3 km which is really long and i didn't know if i was gonna make it back to the finish line. After morning tea the whole of team 5 were getting change into there house color. The house colors are Te aurere ,hikianalia,hine moana, hokulia. When everyone was getting change i was getting change into some shorts, a red PE T-shirt because my house color is red and i was wearing bare feet because it more easier to run the 3km run.

 After i got change i came back to have some lunch and i was really scared to do the run and it was also my last cross country run as a year 8 which was really excited because next year i don’t have to do it because i’m gonna be in college which i was really happy about. After lunch The whole of team 5 came together into the street which is a big space in the middle of the 5 class rooms. When all of team 5 came in we had to go into our year groups. When the year 8 girls were heading out to the hard court i knew that we were gonna go 2 to last because were the seniors and we can be able to sit down and wait. A couple of minutes later i was talking to my friends and then the year 8 girls got called onto the school field.

 When i was walking with my friends i got butterflies and i was getting nervous to run when the year 8 girls were on the field everyone was getting nervous and getting really scared when the Year 8 girls took are marks mr burt said on your mark,get set then you use the start clapper then The year 8 girls were off running as fast as they can. When i heard the clapper i was running As fast as i can when i went out of the gate it was really muddy and gross so i kept on running. I was trying to jog the whole way but i got really tired. Half way threw the cross country i started To get a stitch but little did i know pilinilose was waiting for me at a tree on my final lap and i was Really surprised .


 When i was near the finish line everyone was cheering for me and pilini and i was running as fast as i can to get to the finish and i was done. After i cross the finish line i ran to get a water bottle because i was really thirsty and i finish my water so fast. I really felt proud of myself Because i ran 3km which is a really long run and it was also my final cross country which i was really happy about because i don’t need to do it next year. I was also proud of all my friends that Did the 3km run. After everyone came back from the run we all went back to are home class and we were just having are lunch and we were just chilling out on our Chromebooks. Then the bell rang then i went home chill out and to enjoy the weekend.

Today i my group had to do a presentation about hooked on hockey also i had to do a creative task  about promoting the important of team work. so for my creative task i had to do some examples on how to be a much better team like giving tips on how your team should be so here is my work.

Dear Mr Van Horn,


 My name is Eva and i’m 12 years old and I was born in Sydney australia and I am Maori and Tongan. I am the 2 oldest out of 3 siblings and my siblings names are Josh, Isaiah and Zoe. Zoe is basically a dog but we love to say That she’s our sister. Also I can’t forget my mum and dad. My mum and dad name are Mary and Ivan.


My favorite sport to play is Netball ,Touch and Softball basically I love any type of sport. I think my most favorite sport to play is Netball because I love the Silver Ferns team if you don’t know what the Silver Ferns team is it is New Zealand's girls netball team. My favorite player in the Silver Ferns is Maria Tutaia. I also enjoy playing with my friends in the weekend. And love taking my dog Zoe for a walk and also love to compete in my family’s touch rugby competition. I also enjoy going traveling around the world. And the places that I have went to is Thailand, Tonga,Niue,and the Cook island and also Australia.


 My favorite subject at school is reading, writing and maths basically I love all of the subject in school. My other favorite subject is basically sport because I love sports. The other thing I love to do is going down to tech on Tuesdays. My goals for 2018 is to improve in reading, writing and maths. The things that I dislike at school is basically nothing because I love everything at school .

Dear Ms Tapuke,My name is Eva and i’m 11 years old but turning 12 in April the 9th before my mum birthday and i’m from Sydney australia. My culture is Maori and Tongan and i’m the 2 oldest out of 3 siblings. There names our Josh,Isaiah and Zoe which is a dog but she really like family to us also I can’t forget my mum and dad there names are Mary and Ivan. i really love my family because they also support me at everything i do.

I am a huge sports fan of netball and volleyball and my favourite food are cook island donuts, otai and pizza Also i love to play touch when were having are annual touch competition down next to the park at okahu bay.  

My favourite subjects are reading writing and sports. The things that i dislike at school is nothing.my goals for 2018 is to make progress at reading writing and maths and for sports and to achieve my goals for 2018.  

i am really excited to be in room 2 for reading and writing and i can’t wait for Ms Tapuke to teach me heaps of new stuff and i’m really excited for 2018.

Eva Athletics day

Last week on friday the whole school came to together to participate in athletics. While team 5 was walking down everyone was pump up to do all of sports. When the rest of team 5 went to sit down mrs va’afusuaga was talking about how much fun the whole school is gonna have also she said that if you come 1st,2, and 3rd.in the activity then you will get a chance to compete in a Tournament.When mrs va’afusuaga stop talking siaosi said the karakia after the karakia.

Mr burt let us go to do our first Rotation for the year 7 girls were doing long throw. For long Throw you have to throw a baseball from a distance. When all the 7 girl throw from a distance the gave the ball to the other person and keep on doing the same thing until mr Jacobson blows the trumpet.  

After softball the year 7 girls next activity was relay for relay after relay when went to tiger ball for tiger ball you have 4 teams to win you had to make sure that the other team doesn't throw a ball into your line. After tiger ball the year 7 girl’s went to volley ball,shot put, after shot put it was time for the high jump. If you don't know what high jump is it is when you have to run and jump over bar and try not to knock over the bar.

When all the year 7 girl’s were having a turn it was really hard trying to don't hit of the bar when you're trying not to. After high jump it was kind of getting more harder for the year 7 girls because we were doing a 100 metre race. When the year 7 girl were listening to Mr burt. Mr burt said to the year 7 girl to line up into to 3 line’s and wait until he clap’s this thing and then we go.when the first line was running all the girl were trying there best running the 100 meters run. Later on we only had 3 more activity to go. Like javelin,discus and this other game.

After lunch all the house colour were have a relay race to see who win’s. The name’s for the house colours were red,green,blue and yellow. After the relay there was another really for teacher and parents.

When it was nearly the end the last few runners were running their heart’s out to win when all them past the finish line. Yellow came 1st,red and blue came 2 and i think that green came 3rd or 2. When i was doing all of the activity i felt good about myself trying all the different sport and having a go at it.

Today in reading my group and the rest of the other groups  were making a question cube box from each of a groups story. The title of my story was staring with strings for my question i did when do they practice, who teaches them, what might happen if the brake there instruments, when did they start playing there instruments, why do they have two stay home and practice and where do they practice. if you want to answer my question just search up starting with strings and just find the answer in the book.
